Their pioneering vision continues into the 21st century through gallery programs, community art education, and support for art in the schools. The quality of the art in the gallery has been consistently very high through the years. Bainbridge Arts and Crafts is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization on beautiful Bainbridge Island, a short ferry ride from downtown Seattle.

One can hike trails, book a Delta excursion boatof visit the very informative museum-quality exhibits. The Cypress Gift Shop, also an information and welcome center, offers an extensive, quality array of gifts and souveniers that includes Marias's pottery. Box 114 1100 Bienville Blvd., Dauphin Island, AL 36528	Tel. 251.490.0294	The Dauphin Island Art Gallery is a cooperative art gallery located just East of the intersection of the main island access road from the North, Highway 193, with Bienville Blvd., the East- West backbone, 'main street' road of the island. Bienville terminates at the island's East end, close to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Fort Gaines and the Dauphin Island Ferry terminal, all contributors to traffic past the gallery. The gallery has proven very popular with residents and these visitors alike, presenting quality art work like Maria's Pottery. It is a roadside attraction of pride for island residents and an unexpected surprise for island visitors.

It is an art museum with a revolving set of art exhibits; it hosts a gallery of fine art for gifts and collectors presenting the work of current artists from around the U.S. as well as the members, students and faculty of the Eastern Shore Art Academy; it is a center for artists to meet, work and teach; and it is the Eastern Shore Art Academy with a full schedule of classes and workshops through the year in painting, sculpture, pottery and photography and a nationally famous outreach program for art education in the schools in the area.
