Stoneware is the product of a high temperature kiln firing process that produces quality, strong ceramics. The claybody reaches a vitrified state that provides greater durability, less porosity and the ability to withstand greater temperatures when used for cooking. Stoneware is used for dinner ware, cooking, general scullery and floral arrangements as well as providing popular collectible ceramics.
